This is a movie that will bring screams of joy to many of you. Ian Beckman has released Azerothian Super Villains – Episode 7 . Kael’thas continues to be the mainstay of the series, with his trademark voice and childish antics. Little shivers of glee still shoot up and down my spine at Beckman’s masterful portrayal of the Dark Belf Lord. My favorite part of this episode is the Team Rocket parody. Something about Arthas leading his team in a cute little poem just feels right. While I’m not foolish enough to believe Blizzard would include such a thing in Icecrown Citadel , you better believe that poem’s going to be in my head every time I show down against him. The story progresses fairly well, with the old gang reunited by the end. I don’t know. I love all of the characters, but Kael’thas steals the show to such an amazing degree that I sometimes feel like Illidan is hogging the Dark Belf Lord’s limelight. The final teaser does seem to promise more in the future for Kael’thas, so here’s hoping the next installment isn’t too far off. Interested in the wide world of machinima ? Castle in the Sky by Zimtower is a short, sweet and beautiful music video. It’s somewhat referencing Dalaran as a castle in the sky, but is really more focused on the idea of a “happy place” where each person can revisit their own childhood. And yes, that’s totally a reappearance from the fun gnome from Cloud 9 . It’s a pretty short video, so I wouldn’t recommend trying to read too much into it. However, Zimtower has done an amazing job animating his gnomes so that they actually line up against the song’s lyrics. The video is beautiful, with a whimsical color palette that serves to magnificently reinforce the song’s message. Ultimately, this is a great video. I had a fun time watching it, and expect it to be one of my go-to “pick me up” films in the future. Interested in the wide world of machinima ? It could be hard to imagine that our favorite four-button face-smashing Retribution Paladins were once less than superstars. However, the long-lived among us remember that in vanilla WoW , Paladins were largely buff dispensers in dresses, armed with a couple heals and the super-sexy Tier 2 Judgement set. In memory of the Paladins of that bygone era, Greyfoo has written the Pally DPS Song . Greyfoo’s song definitely has a handful of chuckle-worthy moments. I have to admit that it really drummed up some nostalgia for me. And while my Paladin sure isn’t rocking the Arena ladder, I still have to acknowledge that he’s doing about a billion times better than he was in the original game. I found Greyfoo’s animation suited just fine to his song. The music is fun and low-key, but satisfying. I hope Greyfoo had a good time creating this video, and that he comes back around to do more. It probably makes me sound like the biggest fanboy ever to say so, but I think that Cranius may be my favorite musical performer right now. Something appeals to me about the emotion and earnestness he brings to his music, and the interesting arrangements he creates in each song. His work is unique and compelling, and I look forward to each new song he produces. That’s why it’s so exciting to see Legs and Cranius release The Story . Just like in Wrought , Legs has again managed to create a compelling story in the machinima. Each tableau and action fits Cranius’s music perfectly. There’s really absolutely nothing negative I could say about her work in The Story . Hell, it’s so good I’m probably going to put this video up on the overhead at my own wedding. When my fiancee and I finished watching it, we both D’awwwwed-out-loud. I think Legs and Cranius are an unparalleled team. Their work blends together amazingly, and I look forward to seeing what they might create next together. Interested in the wide world of machinima ? Heres an article I found when surfing all about WoW Moviewatch: Mankrik’s Wife: The Story

Some World of Warcraft quests have taken on a life of their own. These quests are emblazoned in our minds like the shining sun. They will never be forgotten. Certainly, Wrathgate is one such quest. However, before even that epic quest, the Horde traveling the Barrens have dealt with Mankrik and his wife. Such is the power of Mankrik meme that it has now become a machinima of its own. Wowcrendor has taken up the epic tale and created Mankrik’s Wife: The Story . This movie has a handful of gags similar to Wowcrendor’s previous movies, but this film is a great deal more serious. I mean, it’s not straight-face no-laughs serious, but the author is clearly telling a story. It’s not quite the same kind of one-liners and sight gags we’ve seen before from Wowcrendor. The best part for me was titling Mankrik’s spouse “Wifeosaurus.” That’s a pretty fun shout-out to Wowcrendor’s first movie, It’s a Hard Gnome Life . I like that kind of continuity. I really feel like Wowcrendor is creating his own legacy, and I hope to see him continue to grow. Interested in the wide world of machinima ? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch !
