In the interest of full disclosure, I will admit that the choice of this storm-giant-plus-dude-giving-the-metal-horns screenshot was made under the influence of high doses of Brutal Legend. It was sent in several months ago by Jearen of <I Shoulda Been Horde> on Rexxar, a character which seems to have disappeared in the time since this picture was taken. With that guild name, I’m guessing he probably transferred factions. Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We’d love to see them on Around Azeroth ! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@gmail.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next! Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word “Azeroth” in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing — use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val’kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here . Gallery: Around Azeroth 2 Around Azeroth: The true meaning of brutality originally appeared on WoW.com on Mon, 26 Oct 2009 10:00:00 EST. Kàvic of <Kinsmen> on Moon Guard writes, “I was running a friend through Gnomeregan, the most dreaded instance in Azeroth ever , when I spotted a shiny red button in … *dramatic music* …The Final Chamber! Being the curious druid I am I just had to press it. What would happen? An army of gnomes dropping nukes over Azeroth? Would it finally make Gnomeregan a real Alliance city? Well, seeing as the boss was one-shotted, nothing happened. I got to press the button anyway, though.” Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? Frequent contributor Valafar of <Hellfire Club> on Exodar sends in this picture of him and his 2v2 mate Sacblood preparing for a match in their new Horseman helms . What will be more terrifying for their opponents — the eyeless, glowing grins of the disguised blood elves, or facing yet another DK/pally arena team? Of the two new races, Worgen may be causing more excitement among furries Alliance players, but goblins also bring something to the table for the Horde. For instance, they’ve donated some lovely stealth bomber technology to Garrosh as a gesture of friendship. Yves of Dunemaul-EU sent in this screenshot of a well-camouflaged shadow priest on a … shadow wind rider? Okay, I guess that works. Tom sent in this lovely screenshot of the orange clouds in Dragonblight, as seen through the ceiling holes of the Azjol-Nerub entrance caves. The sky in that zone always reminds me of snowy nights back in Wisconsin, when the lights of downtown would reflect off the clouds and make the whole city glow. When I lived near the State Capitol in Madison, the aura was so bright that it made it hard to sleep sometimes. Now I’m in North Carolina, where it never snows. But on the plus side, we have hurricanes and a surprising number of lightning strikes, so … yay?
