Has this feature suddenly been turned into Around Arkham Asylum? Not quite, although I might be game for an Around Rapture feature sometime in mid-February. This max-distance shot of the mage quarters in Stormwind, submitted by Wrezolution of Twilight’s Hammer-EU, is indeed startlingly reminiscent of something you’d see while dressed in a cape and hanging upside-down from a gargoyle. Watch out when you glide kick, though — it’s a heck of a long way to the ground here. Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We’d love to see them on Around Azeroth ! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@gmail.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next! Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word “Azeroth” in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing — use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val’kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here . Killerbees of <Ambient> on Silvermoon sends in this screenshot of a lost soul in Azshara. The sun may rise, the tide may come in, but he will remain in his lonely crystal prison, stuck in a land of perpetual autumn. Isn’t there anyone around who cleans up these things? Sheez. Today families across the U.S. gather together to celebrate Thanksgiving, argue about politics, and accidentally set the garage on fire while attempting to deep-fry their turkey. Roguehunter of <Gnomeland Security> on Norgannon snapped this shot of a less-than-perfect Thanksgiving meal the other day. It seems that the two turkey guests didn’t appreciate their dad being the main course. Around Azeroth: Five years later…

You’ll be hearing a lot about WoW’s five years today. We’ve done some hard work in pulling up some interesting things to show you all, and are going to start giving away some cool stuff too . So for today’s Around Azeroth we wanted to do something a little unique. Instead of your typical awesome screenshot, we went with your untypically awesome alpha shot. Back from when WoW was version 0.01 and stuff like that. In the above screenshot you can see some of the early looking models. I don’t think they look particularly bad. Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We’d love to see them on Around Azeroth! We’ve had quite a few submissions lately showcasing the various uses and abuses of the new Mohawk Grenade . Yeng of <Carpe Imperium> and his friends have all spent extensive time playing with the grenades, but recently, Yeng has decided to stop the jibber-jabber and get serious. Yeng is here to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and he’s all out of gum. Although … actually, he’s not. Well, I suppose he can do both at the same time, as long as he doesn’t accidentally choke to death on his Bubblicious.
