Heres an article I found when surfing all about Patch 3.3 PTR: WoW moves towards shorter cooldowns

Click here to view WoW Addicts
If you checked the most recent Patch 3.3 PTR patch notes, a comparison of spells would show that Blizzard has reduced a lot of spells’ cooldowns by a notable amount. This makes a significant impact on the playing environment on numerous levels, as most of these spells on long cooldowns were long considered to be powerful abilities whose use were once thought situational. These shorter cooldowns will see more abilities in play, figuring more into dungeons, questing, or world PvP . Most of these abilities still won’t see action in Arenas , where the allowable spells have been limited to abilities with cooldowns below ten minutes (down from fifteen). The change appears to be a direct result of many spell cooldowns being reduced. This continues a trend in shortened cooldowns, reflecting what Ghostcrawler said in one thread about how Blizzard “in general (has) been moving away from long cooldowns, anyway.” Players saw this when the iconic long-cooldown ability Lay on Hands — an inevitable Patch 3.3 candidate for a nerf — became usable every 20 minutes from a formerly mind-numbing one hour. More abilities are now being adjusted to be usable more often and, when necessary, balanced accordingly. Check out the full list after the jump. Heres an article I found when surfing all about Patch 3.3: The Oculus receives a welcome nerf

Ah, the Oculus. The bane of every PUG’s existence since Wrath launch. Not a bad instance, just loaded with too many gimmicks and not exactly friendly to … less erudite players. But, I mean, I have a bunch of 80s and even I still hate running Oculus. And I would never PUG it in its current state. In fact, upon hearing about the new Dungeon System and its daily random dungeon, I thought “well, bad news if you get Oculus.” Well, it looks like all of us are in luck. In the latest Patch 3.3 PTR patch notes update , the Oculus got its very own section! Check this out. Many bosses and creatures have had their total health reduced. Several bosses and creatures have had cooldowns on specific abilities increased, effect durations reduced, and damage on some of these abilities reduced. Ring-Lord Conjurers and Sorceresses now hang out in packs of 4 instead of packs of 5. Vehicle scaling on the drakes based on the rider’s item level has been increased to make them more powerful. Heck yes! Smaller trash packs, HP nerfs, and even an increase the drake scaling that they already implemented to make them not as much of a pain in the keister. Will it make people not complete abhor the Oculus? Let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. But maybe it’ll stop people from willingly giving themselves the Random Dungeon deserter debuff just to get out of the place. Oh, and quick thing. “Oculus” has one C in it. Just the one. Spread the word. Patch 3.3 is the last major patch of Wrath of the Lich King . With the new Icecrown Citadel 5-man dungeons and 10/25-man raid arriving soon, patch 3.3 will deal the final blow to Arthas. Hey guys heres a great article all about Patch 3.3 PTR: Shaman Tier 10

Click here to view WoW Addicts
Just off the official preview page from Blizzard comes the Shaman tier 10 armor set, which will be released in patch 3.3 . And we all haven’t been waiting for this set long enough, have we? The Shaman tier 10 set is called the Frost Witch, and this definitely fits with that motif. After looking closely at the image, Sacco and I think the horns of ice on the head and shoulders do not appeared to be textured, so that’s something we have to look forward to being completed in the future. The shoulders also feature what appears to be a two ghost-animals jutting out of them, very likely a periodic effect that we’ve previously seen in the BC warlock set. Patch 3.3 is the last major patch of Wrath of the Lich King . With the new Icecrown Citadel 5-man dungeons and 10/25-man raid arriving soon, patch 3.3 will deal the final blow to the Arthas. Check out this really cool article all about Patch 3.3 PTR: Patch notes updated

New patch notes have been release for the patch 3.3 PTR. The changes present in this iteration of the notes will be active when the PTR comes up this evening after the latest patch is applied to your client. While there are a handful of changes to a few classes, there are two major areas which everyone will be talking about for a few days. First, you no longer have to clear Naxxramas to get to Sapphiron’s lair. Tha means that raids will now be able to go directly to Sapphiron, and (presumably) subsequently Kel’Thuzad. Secondly, quest objective tracking is now present in this PTR build. This was originally present in the initial patch 3.2 builds, but was taken out by Blizzard after issues crept up with it. We’ll have more on this new feature later this evening or tomorrow. The entire list of patch notes changes after the break. UPDATE: The paladin set image was fixed on the official site and is now correct. Nice skull bolo tie, guys. Blizzard has been a little slow with their drip of Tier 10 previews — those who visit MMO-Champion, for example, have known what the Patch 3.3 priest and paladin sets look like for a week or more — but it’s still nice that they’re trying. With that in mind, the official Tier 10 preview page was updated today, adding the priest and paladin sets. Well, the priest set, anyway — it looks like the paladin one is actually next season’s paladin PVP set — so you paladins’ll have to wait a little longer to see the official pictures of your Texas oilman/Spanish conquistador set. But at least you guys have something to look at, unlike shamans, who’ll undoubtedly have to wait until the end of the PTR cycle to see what combination of exploding rocks and chains we’ve got for our shoulders this time. And would it be too much to ask to get some of these sets on somebody that’s not a human male, arguably the absolute worst model on which to preview armor? Looks like I’ve got a case of the Mondays.
