Check out this really cool article all about Server maintenance for September 29th

While we were given ample notice regarding last week’s server maintenance, this week we weren’t so lucky. We were only informed earlier today of tomorrow’s maintenance , which will start at 5:00 am PDT and last until 11:00 am PDT. If you’re not sure what time that is in your particular time zone, that’s what the World Clock is for, you ninnies. As usual, WoW.com will be here all morning and afternoon to keep you busy while you slack off at work during your WoW -less lunch break. Or, if Valve is a benevolent sort and lets us get our grubby, pallid hands on it early, you could just play Left 4 Dead ’s new map while the servers are down. That’s what I’ll be doing the whole time. Filed under: Realm News , Realm Status Server maintenance for September 29th originally appeared on WoW.com on Tue, 29 Sep 2009 02:05:00 EST. The file is only 40 megs, so it should go quickly for you. This patch mirror is only for the English-US PC version of WoW. Heres an article I found when surfing all about WoW Moviewatch: Warrior’s Dream

Click here to learn the millionaire secrets in getting gold
Sam Pierce , the director and producer for Slashdance , dropped us a note to let us know the final, full-length cut of Warrior’s Dream is available. And every moment of this breathtaking video is gorgeous. The video scored 3rd place at the BlizzCon 2009 machinima contest, and it’s easy to see how it did so well. Like many BlizzCon machinima entries, Warrior’s Dream was originally released in a smaller, 3-minute version in order to conform with the contest guidelines. Now that the contest is over, the Slashdance group retooled the video to its better paced, full featured glory. This video is just absolutely wonderful. While the authors provide interpretation for the Fantasia-like framing, I’d recommend watching the video before you read that summary. The words “wonder” and “fantasy” can’t describe this video adequately, since it really is a soaring, imaginative journey through Northrend . For me, it manages to capture the “wow!” and “look at that!” in the World of Warcraft , and does so in an open, embracing approach. It’s a great movie, and one worth sharing with friends. As a final note, this is a video I immediately shared with both WoW friends and non- WoW friends. It’s a beautiful film, and one I think most people will enjoy. Hey guys heres a great article all about Spiritual Guidance: Healing throughput or mana regeneration?

Click here to learn the secrets of making gold in WoW
Every Sunday (usually), Spiritual Guidance will offer practical insight for priests of the holy profession. Your host is Matt Low , the grand poobah of World of Matticus and a founder of No Stock UI , a UI and addons blog for WoW . This week, it’s a reexamination of spell power throughput vs mana regeneration. These two sides have had strong arguments over the past several years. This is more of a debate between play styles among Priests and how to build their characters. Some people favor getting more mana regen as much as possible. Others prefer a balanced attack between mana regeneration and spell power throughput. Is there a right answer? Technically, no as this is a matter of personal preference. It depends on largely on how you heal. Other factors include which fights, which consumables you use regularly, and so forth. Heres an article I found when surfing all about WoW Moviewatch: SI:7 Episode 1

Before you read on, please note that there are spoilers in this review. Tipster Thomas hooked me up to SI:7 Episode 1 , the first installment in a story-based series by Kakashisan. The basic plot is a pretty good idea. After the Wrathgate debacle, a group of Forsaken rebels must plan another method for removing Horde influence over Undercity. Meanwhile, SI:7 has learned of danger to the Alliance. Matthias Shaw turns to a prisoner in the Stormwind Stockades for help. I think the animation was fine for the story it’s supporting. The zooming scenery shots were strong, and the script moved along okay. I think where SI:7 Episode 1 struggled was scripting and voice acting. This is a fairly common problem with first-time-out story shows, because the author and actors are all working on “finding their mark.” The script had a little more exposition than was strictly necessary, and it sounds like the voice actors are still growing into performing their roles naturally and smoothly. I don’t want to be too critical, though, because I think they can get to a great place. I was impressed by the effort and novelty of SI:7 Episode I , and I look forward to seeing how it will grow.
