We ran our livestream of the Halls of Reflection on the PTR yesterday, and other than one little hitch (I figured I’d save us all the trouble of raiding the Lich King and just jump in and take him down myself, with disastrous consequences), it went pretty well. Turns out you need to run through the main quest to unlock the last two Frozen Halls instances , so we ended up doing all three: Forge of Souls and Pit of Saron on normal, and then the Halls of Reflection on both normal and Heroic. On the way, you can see all of the bosses, dropped loot, the various lore and questlines that weave throughout the new 5-man, and the final epic confrontation . Obviously, considering this is straight video of these instances (with commentary and audio from the game), these things are full of spoilers — if you don’t want to know what happens when you enter Icecrown Citadel, steer clear. That said, the video we recorded is after the break. You don’t have to watch the whole thing (in fact, at over two hours, you’d be crazy to), as I’ve tagged the Forge of Souls run , the Pit of Saron run , and the final heroic Halls of Reflection run on their own. Clicking those links or the markers on the video below should take you to the specific parts of the video. Enjoy. Patch 3.3 is the last major patch of Wrath of the Lich King . With the new Icecrown Citadel 5-man dungeons and 10/25-man raid arriving soon, patch 3.3 will deal the final blow to Arthas. WoW.com’s Guide to Patch 3.3 will keep you updated with all the latest patch news. Earn Gold In World of Warcraft

As a World of Warcraft player you are aware of how important gold is. It is by far the most sought after commodity in the game. It is used to buy items such as armor or weapons.

Purchasing gold in World of Warcraft is simply not the answer. It is a fast answer to a long time problem, it will also require you to spend real money for it. Finding a honest dealer may also prove to be a problem as you may get hacked by the very people you buy gold from.

The best way for your character to make gold in World of Warcraft is to buy and sell items. The buying and selling of items in the AH (auction house) is very profitable. You will need to do some research in order to know what’s in demand in the market.

Becoming an auctioneer in World of Warcraft is like being a stock broker in the real world. The rule that you will need to keep in mind is to buy low and sell high. This will really provide your character with a large profit margin. It is even possible to average an earning of 500 gold an hour with a little practice. That is a pretty good take compared to some of the other professions that your character can be involved in.

Buying items at a low price and reselling them for a profit is the fastest way to build up your inventory of gold in World of Warcraft . For this to work research is very important. Try to determine which items are in demand and at what price they are selling for.

When you learn what people want to buy you need to acquire that item at the cheapest possible price, then sell it for the highest possible price. This technique is very effective as players who want the item will not research the price and will pay whatever you ask.

There are three steps to earn gold with this method. First you need to research what’s selling and for how much. Second you need to buy as many as possible for as cheap as possible. If you buy up all the items that you can find you will corner the market and then you can set the price. Some items bring in a hundred percent profit.

You do not need to get your character to learn any special skills in order to buy and sell items in World of Warcraft. All you need to know is the law of supply and demand. This works very well in real live and you will be surprised how well it works in the game.

If done right it will become a market savvy to earn gold in World of Warcraft . There are many professions that your character can do but this is the fastest way to earn gold. For more info on this and other subjects visit how to make gold in World of Warcraft .

Doing something nice for other players

Here is a great article all about Doing something nice for other players
warcraft millionaire

Click here to learn the millionaire secrets in getting gold

This is one of the few forum threads of late that has given me hope in mankind rather than the other way around. Jastiri of Antonidas started a thread asking players what the last nice thing they did for another player was , and relates his/her own tale of running into a new level-15 player who had saved 20 silver and materials to pay a tailor to make 6-slot bags. This “just about broke my heart,” Jastiri wrote, who then made the newbie five 16-slot bags and offered 10 gold. The player thanked him/her for the bags but didn’t accept the gold, insisting that the bags were gift enough and that he/she intended to pay Jastiri back for them eventually as well. How can you not love that? The whole thread’s full of little gems like that that, and was lovely to read. Share the wealth, readers — what have you done lately for other players?
