At his drake’s request, Amathyst of <The Stormwind Reserve> on Barthilas rode up to visit Alexstrasza and introduce her to one of her many children. Unfortunately for Amathyst’s mount, it turns out he inherited most of his characteristics from his much less impressive father. This reminds me of a pit bull/basset hound mix I once met. It would have been a very intimidating guard dog were it not for the fact that it didn’t come up to my knees and preferred crashing into people’s ankles to attacking them. Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We’d love to see them on Around Azeroth ! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@gmail.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next! Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word “Azeroth” in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing — use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val’kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. When Awiendale of <Tao> on Garrosh was fired from his job as a warlock after some indiscretions with the local sheep, the Silvermoon City University careers office couldn’t match him with a suitable employer. So he decided to strike out on his own and do a little temp work for one Mister K. Jaeden. Sure, the new boss was a little creepy, but the benefits were good, and his new Eredar form seemed to really attract the succubi at the office Winter Veil party. All things considered, it was definitely better than working at GameStop. Now that players can jump directly into Burning Crusade content at level 58, Silithus has got to be one of the least-visited places in Azeroth. Long, painful quest lines intended for levels 57+? Random scorpion and worm attacks? Oh, and don’t forget the joy of dying in the underground hives and trying to find a place to rez where you’re not immediately swarmed by creepy insects. Ick. The only reason to go back there is to grind Cenarion Circle rep, which is what Nephilerin of <Quod Erat Demonstrandum> on Alexstrasza was suffering through when he snapped this screenshot of Ahn’Qiraj. This brings back so many memories. On a related note, anyone know if they’ve developed that Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind brain-wiping procedure yet? Brewmaster Urdla of <Emporium> on Lothar-EU writes in to tell us of a strange series of events that recently befell her character. “First a near-fatal teleport mishap made her dark side shine through,” Urdla wrote. “Then her Orb of the Sin’dorei added some more evil female grace by turning her into one of those arcane-addicted killer Barbies. Calling her phoenix hatchling, she enjoys the ever-flowing magma streams of Ironforge. What more can a dwarf gain from the dark side?” Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? Kàvic of <Kinsmen> on Moon Guard writes, “I was running a friend through Gnomeregan, the most dreaded instance in Azeroth ever , when I spotted a shiny red button in … *dramatic music* …The Final Chamber! Being the curious druid I am I just had to press it. What would happen? An army of gnomes dropping nukes over Azeroth? Would it finally make Gnomeregan a real Alliance city? Well, seeing as the boss was one-shotted, nothing happened. I got to press the button anyway, though.” Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder?
