Has this feature suddenly been turned into Around Arkham Asylum? Not quite, although I might be game for an Around Rapture feature sometime in mid-February. This max-distance shot of the mage quarters in Stormwind, submitted by Wrezolution of Twilight’s Hammer-EU, is indeed startlingly reminiscent of something you’d see while dressed in a cape and hanging upside-down from a gargoyle. Watch out when you glide kick, though — it’s a heck of a long way to the ground here. Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We’d love to see them on Around Azeroth ! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@gmail.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next! Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word “Azeroth” in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing — use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val’kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. After trying to entrap her Thanksgiving dinner with a cleaver, a polearm, a guildmate’s Fireball spell, a carefully constructed gnomish engineering device, and an errant feral druid in cat form, Nayuki of Demon Soul finally had to admit defeat. The turkey was simply smarter than she was. Her only hope for a decent holiday meal was to wait until the turkey’s back was turned, and then blindly stab away with her knife. Surely that would work. We’ve had quite a few submissions lately showcasing the various uses and abuses of the new Mohawk Grenade . Yeng of <Carpe Imperium> and his friends have all spent extensive time playing with the grenades, but recently, Yeng has decided to stop the jibber-jabber and get serious. Yeng is here to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and he’s all out of gum. Although … actually, he’s not. Well, I suppose he can do both at the same time, as long as he doesn’t accidentally choke to death on his Bubblicious. In the late fall, packs of land sharks are often found migrating across Kalimdor, wreaking havoc wherever they go. This trio of land sharks became lost among the bluffs while trying to deliver a Candygram to Cairne Bloodhoof. Luckily for the old tauren, they ran into one of their only natural enemies — the feral druid. Bears and cats like fish, and there’s a big fire right there to roast it over. Sure, there’s nothing in the world that can make shark taste good, but at least the integrity of the food chain is preserved for another day. (Thanks to Velia of <Kindread> on Kel’Thuzad for the screenshot!) Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? Gold Secrets

Outsiders who know little about gnomish culture might be surprised to find that the little devils have a pretty strict eugenics policy. Gnomes who are exposed to excessive radiation, such as Timidger of <The Mafia Inc> on Dath’Remar, are given a mount, a sack of gems, and a strongly warded warning never to return to Ironforge. They generally don’t prosper on their own. This picture was taken shortly before Timidger was eaten by his own horse.
