It’s Pilgrim’s Bounty , folks, and that means that it’s a time for family. A time for friends. A time for giving. A time for mercilessly slaughtering hundreds of thousands of helpless game birds. And a time, of course, to be thankful. While you stuff your polygonal face with potatoes, pie, and, of course, the ol’ bird, remember to keep that in mind. So, on that note … What on Azeroth are you thankful for this Pilgrim’s Bounty? What’s warming your heart besides cholesterol? Me, I’m thankful for heirloom items. I’m thankful for The Art of War and Judgments of the Wise . I’m thankful for Predatory Strikes and Lightning Overload . I’m thankful for my readers and my faction leaders . And you guys? How about you? Pass the gravy and let us know. Filed under: Breakfast topics Breakfast Topic: What are you thankful for? originally appeared on WoW.com on Thu, 26 Nov 2009 08:00:00 EST. The @warcraft twitter account has been posting a few carefully taken pictures of something the past couple days, and today it’s been reveled what the object is — a Pandaren Brewmaster Figure that you can buy from the Blizzard store . The little guy is “on sale” for $50, and there are limited quantities available. Everything is first come, first server, so if you want one I suggest getting getting it quickly. The figure is of Chen Stormstout , who left his Pandaren home world to find better ingredients to make his brew with. These figures are usually of pretty high quality, and by the looks of it this one is exceptionally detailed. It’s also not a small figure. It’s over 8 inches tall and 4 pounds in weight, which makes it quite a nice desk statue. Should be a good collectable for this who want it! After trying to entrap her Thanksgiving dinner with a cleaver, a polearm, a guildmate’s Fireball spell, a carefully constructed gnomish engineering device, and an errant feral druid in cat form, Nayuki of Demon Soul finally had to admit defeat. The turkey was simply smarter than she was. Her only hope for a decent holiday meal was to wait until the turkey’s back was turned, and then blindly stab away with her knife. Surely that would work. Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We’d love to see them on Around Azeroth ! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@gmail.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next! Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word “Azeroth” in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing — use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val’kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here . Heres an article I found when surfing all about Breakfast Topic: What do you do when your server is down?

The players on the Emberstorm and Whirlwind battlegroups have had a rough week . A massive power outage, huge network issues and other problems have forced them away from their virtual homes to find refuge elsewhere. Some have joined the It came from the Blog guild on Zangarmarsh, where we have had two impromptu server outage parties . The picture above is from Tuesday night’s shindig. Others have commented in the outage posts that they have formed level 1 raids on other servers. And of course there are other games to play. Personally, if both Zangarmarsh and my main server are down, I figure it’s time to start watching what’s on the DVR and knitting . What do you do when your server is down? When Emberstorm and Whirlwind battlegroups went down due to a massive power outage and nastiness resulting from it, we invited displaced players to join us in our It came from the Blog guild on Zangarmarsh. And they did. For the most part, it was a guildchat party, but many of us gathered for a picture outside of Silvermoon to commemorate the occasion. I also offered ports to Shattrath so people could set their hearthstones. I’m not used to giving ports, however, so I accidentally ported just myself on one occasion. Oops. Joining us for the party were Adam Holisky , Michael Sacco , Matt Low and Kelly Aarons . We all had a great time hanging out together and getting some cooking done. Just because we had this impromptu get together doesn’t mean we’re still not going to Party like Pilgrims on Wednesday night , however. Everyone is invited, so come join us at 11pm EST on Zangarmarsh, Wednesday night for some Pilgrim’s Bounty fun.
