Easier Leveling with Patch 3.3.0\’s New Looking for Group System

As you play World of Warcraft, you realize just how important it is to do dungeon crawling, but it\’s so tedious as to be unappealing sometimes. Those of you who have tried to run dungeons know what I mean; it\’s a lot of standing around with a group of people, who sometimes disappear or don\’t do what you need to do and have trouble communicating. Thanks to the 3.3.0 patch, though, you can take advantage of the Looking for Group System which can change the way you form groups in the game for the better, enabling your progress to improve!

In the first place, everyone knows how much dungeons can help you level. Not only do get a great deal of experience from killing multiple high level mobs in one session, but you will also find that the gear that you can pick up in dungeons are going to be much better than what you can typically get in random world drops. Despite all of these advantages, though, you will find that in many cases, people simply do not want to waste time with dungeons. It takes too long to get people together and once you get going, people might drop out unexpectedly.

With patch 3.3.0, however, you will find that it is time for you to consider dungeon running again. This patch allows you to put together dungeon groups from all over the servers. This functionality is only useful for five man dungeons. It is not available for raids or for group quests, but you will find that you are going to get matched with people of an appropriate level. This makes putting together a group to go dungeon running much quicker and much more efficient.

To use this system, just open the window to choose a dungeon. It will give you a random dungeon if you don\’t choose a specific dungeon, and a random dungeon has additional benefits in emblem and gold rewards. That means you can accumulate gold quickly by running random dungeons frequently. The system will only let you enter dungeons appropriate for your character\’s level.

Then you will need to select what role you want to play in the instance, and this will be limited by your class. Choose whether you want to tank, heal or deal out damage, and also indicate whether you are willing to lead a group. Remember that the more random your group is, the larger the gold reward is going to be. Then you will be matched with characters who are compatible with your needs.

If you read an alliance leveling guide, you\’ll see that leveling can be done quickly through dungeon running, but until recently that\’s been an unpalatable option. Give this a try if you want to level in a new and exciting way thanks to this new patch!
